Pamela Richmond

VP, Strategy & New Ministry Devel.

Pam joined Otterbein in 2011 with 25+ years of experience. She started her career with a “Big 4” audit firm, moved into internal audit for a Fortune 500, and was first introduced to non-profit mission as an accounting manager of a Community Development Corporation (CDC) in the inner city of Toledo. She then began a 16 year career with two regional accounting firms in their Senior Living consulting practices helping hundreds of non-profit senior living organizations with strategic and operational planning, market and financial feasibility studies for turnaround, renovation and expansion, operation improvement plans, budgeting, and regulatory filings. 

Pam is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She also successfully completed a three year leadership program at Penn State University from 2007-2010 sponsored by her then employer.

Pam is the Vice President of Strategy and New Ministry Development responsible for:

  • Oversight of the strategic planning process, reporting on progress, potential changes and emerging trends.
  • Shepherding ministries that are new to Otterbein. The current new ministry focus is to start-up and grow Otterbein Hospice.

Pam and her husband, Charlie, an attorney, have five children from, a dog and two cats. Together as a family they like to hike in the metro parks, attend AAA Baseball Toledo Mudhens games, and spend time at the Toledo Zoo, Toledo Museum of Art and the Toledo Botanical Gardens.
