Gary Horning

VP, Marketing & Communications

Gary joined Otterbein in 2009, following a 32-year sales, marketing and product management career in high-tech with NCR, AT&T, SCO, and Monarch Marking. He has lived in the area for nearly 45 years, save a couple of years in California. He has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and a Master’s of Business Administration Degree from Wright State University in Dayton.

Gary is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications responsible to:

  • Create and implement marketing strategies and tactics to drive occupancy and yield strong financial results across all ministries
  • Create and implement communications and branding strategies and tactics to effectively position Otterbein in the market

Gary and his wife Kim have three children; Zachary at Wittenberg University, and Camryn and Kathryn (K.C.), both in Springboro Schools and into yoga, tennis and musical instruments.
