Our hospice ministry continues to grow and we are looking for compassionate volunteers to join our team. The hospice team provides physical, emotional and spiritual care to patients in their own homes, skilled nursing centers and in-patient hospice settings.
Volunteers are at the heart of hospice care, offering time and talent to support the services provided by our professional care team. One of the greatest gifts we can offer our hospice residents is a volunteer.
Wherever you choose to volunteer at Otterbein Hospice, there's a place for you. Whether it's working directly with residents and families or in another role, you can make a big difference in someone's life, including your own. Volunteers offer companionship through conversation, reading, music, and sharing common hobbies. Having a volunteer is often a blessing for families, too, as your presence can offer them some much-needed respite. We also have a need for volunteers to assist with clerical duties and other special projects that can be completed from home.
No experience or medical background is necessary. We provide ongoing training and support to our volunteers.
Make a powerful impact on the lives of your neighbors in their time of greatest need.
